For the last decade, a team of Baptist and Episcopalian ministers, Seventh Day Adventists, and at least one rabbi have been bridging the gap between law enforcement and residents of the 67th Precinct. For this clergy crisis response team, known locally as “the God Squad”, combatting gun violence is the ultimate form of service to their communities.
